JG: I graduated from Michigan State University and continued to work with local organizations such as Affirmations, Allied Media Project, and Camp4all that all works with queer and marginalized youth and community members.
ATA: Can you please tell us a little bit about your student affairs background before joining WSU?
JG: When I was a student, I was a director of advertising for MSU's student government. Outside of that I also worked for the student radio station, IMPACT 89FM.
ATA: When you are not advising, what are some things you like to do for fun?
JG: I am an artist so I do love creative projects and throwing art related events. My favorite activity with friends is imagining queer future with the context of liberation.

JG: I am throwing a zine making workshop with Ferndale Library in March.
