Sign up for Orientation: wayne.edu/orientation

Attend a Freshman Pre-med Check-Up: wayne.edu/advising/pre-health/freshman-check-ups
Note: Check-Ups are also offered in the afternoon of all Freshman Orientation days. You can choose to attend on that day, no registration required, or sign up for one later in the summer (after attending Orientation).

Contact your MAJOR advisor:
There are two main ways to know the major advisor you are assigned to (even if you are an Exploratory student). Using your WSU log-in, sign into stars.wayne.edu (appointment site) or degreeworks.wayne.edu (degree requirements) and you will see the name of your advisor. You should also have an email from your advisor in your WSU email account to reference. Schedule an appointment or reach out through email to ensure you have all your questions answered!

If you have changed your major, please call the Orientation office at 313-577-9019 or email Orientation@wayne.edu to make the update official. Please update your major at least one week before your scheduled orientation date to ensure that you receive course recommendations from the appropriate academic advisor.
