The ATA onboarding curriculum is offered through a combination of asynchronous course material, stored in Canvas, and ATA trainer meetings. The curriculum is made of 15 modules. New advisors are expected to complete all 15 modules and a case study assignment over a 12-month period. After doing so, Level 1 certification will be awarded. Experienced advisors wishing to engage in the curriculum must complete modules 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10, and the case study assignment to earn Level 1 certification. Because the curriculum is flexible in nature, it can be started at any time. Experienced advisors interested in completing the onboarding curriculum should reach out to Kate Bernas at ab9599@wayne.edu.
